I give it a three because most of the staff is kind and a lot of things are easy to find. There is, however, one librarian in particular is always overly rude and never helpful. Always makes me feel bad for having the late fees or not paying them as quickly as she may prefer.

there is one "lady" that keeps track of your chargeouts (ILL's), and actually makes it her personal responsibility to keep track of all the times you are overdue... then decides whether or not you can keep an item or not.. tone is harsh , sarcastic, and cutting from her as well...she actually mentioned to me on the phone totally unprofessionally that has a "file" from me from "before" Really,... are you kidding me? PS has anyone seen the Seinfield episode about "the librarian" ? .. If you have, you can definitely see where I am heading with this .... ditto. Keep your slips by your bedside; ladies and gents..... the posse' is coming for you !
I love my local library. This new building is very welcoming in comparison to the previous one in the center of town. It offers SO much for everyone (toddler story time, Lego club, chess club, book clubs for all ages, knitting and so much more). Not to mention their summer reading programs and activities. It is spacious, lots of quiet little nooks, plus 2 'quiet/study' rooms upstairs with a computer in each. Perfect for those of us who get distracted easily. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help. Can't say enough great things about this place and the people that work there. Never a bad experience, and I'm there multiple times per week (some weeks).
Wonderful children's staff, great selection for adults. Very happy with the new place!!
